MHP lideri Devlet Bahçeli, 21 Mart Nevruz Bayramı nedeniyle bir mesaj yayımladı.
Mesajında CHP-HDP görüşmesine tepki gösteren Bahçeli, “CHP ile HDP’nin ertelenmiş buluşmasını Nevruz Günü gerçekleştirmesi ise hem bir talihsizlik hem de kimin kimlerle emel ve hedef birliği içinde olduğunun üzeri karalanmış çirkin resmidir.” dedi
“Baharımızı kışa dönüştürmek için yan yana gelenler 14 Mayıs’ta milli iradenin ihtişamıyla tasfiye ve telin edileceklerdir.” ifadelerini kullanan Bahçeli, “Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ni çekiçle örs arasına sıkıştırmaya çalışanlar hayal kırıklığına uğrayacaklardır.” dedi.
“BOYUN EĞMEYECEKTİR”
Öte yandan Bahçeli, 6 Şubat 2023 tarihli Pazarcık ve Elbistan merkezli 2 ayrı deprem ile birlikte Adıyaman ve Şanlıurfa’da yaşanan sel ve taşkınların milleti sarstığını ve acıya boğduğunu belirterek, “Türk milleti karşısına çıkan doğal zorlukları ve doğal olmayan çetin engelleri ‘Hep birlikte aşma’ iradesi göstererek direncini, dirayetini ve metanetini azami düzeylerde sergilemiştir. Bizim nazarımızda 85 milyon Türk vatandaşımız; büyük Türkiye’nin şah damarı, şahbaz dimağıdır. Ülkemiz hiçbir soruna, hiçbir ayak bağına, hiçbir dayatmaya kuşkusuz boyun eğmeyecektir.” ifadelerini kullandı.
CHP-HDP GÖRÜŞMESİ
CHP Genel Başkanı Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, dün TBMM’de HDP Eş Genel Başkanları Pervin Buldan ve Mithat Sancar ile görüştü.
Buldan ve Sancar’a randevu talebini kabul ettikleri için teşekkür eden Kılıçdaroğlu, Millet İttifakı’nın hazırladığı anayasa değişiklikleri metninin, güçlendirilmiş parlamenter sistemle ilgili doküman ve ortak mutabakat metninin birer örneğini takdim ettiklerini belirtti.
Kılıçdaroğlu, “Kürt sorununun çözüm adresi TBMM’dir.” dedi. Yapıcı bir görüşme gerçekleştirdiklerini söyleyen Sancar ise kısa bir süre içinde ayrıntılı açıklama yapacaklarını kaydetti.

CHP and HDP Meeting Draws Strong Reactions: Bahçeli Calls it Unfortunate to Hold on Nevruz Day

In a statement released on Monday, Bahçeli said, “It is extremely sad and unfortunate to hold a meeting with the HDP on Nevruz Day. Nevruz is a cultural and national holiday that is observed by the entire Turkish nation. Celebrating this day with the HDP, which has links to the terrorist organization PKK, is unacceptable.”
Bahçeli added that the CHP-HDP meeting was a “clear attempt to undermine Turkey’s unity and integrity,” and urged the CHP to reconsider its policies. He warned that his party would not shy away from taking action against those who collaborate with the HDP or PKK.
Meanwhile, the AKP, through its spokesperson Ömer Çelik, also criticized the meeting, saying that the CHP had “betrayed the national will” by holding talks with the HDP. Çelik accused the HDP of being a “political extension” of the PKK and argued that any cooperation with the party would harm Turkey’s national interests.
The meeting between the CHP and HDP is seen as a significant development in the country’s politics, given that the two parties have been at loggerheads in the past. Critics, however, argue that the meeting could further polarize the society and trigger a backlash from the hardline nationalist circles.
