Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Kahramanmaraş Belediyesi önünde “Pazarcık Depremi Sonrası 17 bin 902 Afet ve Köy Konutu İlk Temel Atma Töreni”ne katıldı. Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, akşam da depremzedelerle birlikte iftar yapacak.
Erdoğan’ın buradaki konuşmasından öne çıkanlar:
”Asrın felaketi olan 6 Şubat depremlerinde hayatını kaybedenlere başsağlığı diliyorum. 20 bini aşan artçı sarsıntılar bile karşılaştığımız felaketin boyutlarını gösteriyor. Bu depremlerde 50 binin üzerinde canımızı kaybettik, sadece Kahramanmaraş’ta 12 bin 307 vatandaşımızı yitirdik.
Yıkılan her binamızı yeniden yaparak şehirlerimizi inşa ve ihya ederek adım adım Türkiye Yüzyılı’na yürüyoruz. Deprem evlerimizi yıkmış, canımızı yakmış olabilir. Ama bu felaket, mücadele azmimizi asla elimizden alamayacak. Bugün depremin 45. gününde kalıcı konutların inşasına başlamış durumdayız, bunu yapabilecek başka ülke yoktur.
Mayıs ayına kadar inşallah yüz bin konteynere ulaşmış olacağız, gece gündüz depremzedelerin yanındayız.
Enkazın yarısından fazlasını kaldırdık. Dağıttığımız çadır sayısı 525 bini, hizmete sunulan konteyner 32 bini geçti. Hasar tespitlerinin ardından Kahramanmaraş’ta 77 bin 57 afet konutu ve 30 bin 310 köy evi inşa etmek için kolları sıvadık.
Bir yıl içerisinde kalıcı konutları bitirerek hak sahibi vatandaşlarımıza teslim edeceğiz.
Mevcut organize sanayilerimizi güçlendirirken, Afşin’e yeni bir organize sanayi bölgesi kuruyoruz. Çiftçi ve üreticilerin zararının telafisi için mazot, gübre, hayvancılık, yem bitkileri ve su ürünleri desteği başta olmak üzere her türlü adımı atıyoruz.”
