Emine Erdoğan, Katar-Türkiye Kardeşlik Konteyner Kenti’nde kalan depremzedelerle bir araya geldi.
Tek tek ilgilendiği depremzedelere geçmiş olsun dileklerini ileten Erdoğan, afetzedelere herhangi bir ihtiyaçları olup olmadığını sordu.
Konteyner kentte bulunan, kendisinin de onursal başkanı olduğu Şule Yüksel Şenler Vakfının atölyesini ziyaret eden Erdoğan, sivil toplum kuruluşlarının sosyal projeleri hakkında bilgi aldı.
Erdoğan, burada, devletin ve sivil toplum kuruluşlarının hep birlikte çok kısa zamanda yaraları saracağını söyledi.
Depremzedelerin acısını yürekten hissettiklerini belirten Emine Erdoğan, “Gerçekten hep birlikte ağladık, Allah bir daha yaşatmasın. Böyle bir acıyı hiç kimse görmesin inşallah.” dedi.
Emine Erdoğan, atölyenin önemini anlatarak, şöyle konuştu:
“Şimdi büyük acı yaşandı. Tabii o acılarla baş başa kalındığı zaman, insanın ruh hali maalesef hiç de iyi olmaz. Onun için işe yarar hale gelmeniz, meşgale edinmeniz, bir şeyler öğrenmeniz lazım. Dolayısıyla bu merkezler bu açıdan büyük bir açığı kapatacaklar inşallah. Bir şeylerle ilgilenince inşallah yavaş yavaş bu anılarından sıyrılıp geleceğe daha iyi bakabilecekler. Ben buna inanıyorum çünkü hayat devam ediyor.”
Emine Erdoğan, daha sonra Hatay’da 7 Şubat’ta dünyaya gelen Ali Efe Üreler ve ailesiyle de bir araya geldi.
Sahra hastanesini de ziyaret eden Erdoğan, burada da yaralı depremzedelerle buluştu.
Erdoğan, daha sonra Sağlık Bakanı Fahrettin Koca ile merkez Antakya ilçesi Büyükdalyan Mahallesi’ndeki konteyner kentte sağlık üniteleri, yeni doğan ve emzirme ünitelerini ziyaret etti, yetkililerden bilgi aldı.
