Eskişehir’den deprem bölgesine 12 TIR içme suyu desteği – Son Dakika Türkiye Haberleri
Kahramanmaraş merkezli 11 ilde büyük yıkıma sebep olan depremlerin ardından, Eskişehir Büyükşehir Belediyesi ile Eskişehir Su ve Kanalizasyon İdaresi (ESKİ) Genel Müdürlüğü içme suyu ihtiyacını karşılanması için kampanya başlattı.
Eskişehirlilerin desteğiyle Kalabak içme suyundan 12 TIR hazırlandı. ESKİ Genel Müdürü Oğuzhan Özen’in gözetiminde ekipler tarafından TIR’lara yüklenen sular, deprem bölgesine gönderildi.
İçme suları, Hatay, İskenderun ve Samandağ ilçeleri ile Kahramanmaraş, Elbistan, Pazarcık ve Nurhak ilçeleri, Adıyaman ve Gölbaşı ilçesi ile Şanlıurfa kent merkezinde AFAD koordinasyonunda depremzedelere dağıtıldı.
Eskişehir Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen kampanyaya destek verenlere teşekkür ederek, “Böylesi anlamlı bir dayanışma nedeniyle tüm yardımseverlere çok teşekkür ediyorum. Zira bölgede yıkım büyük ve ihtiyaçlar bitmiş değil. ‘Kalabak suyumuzu deprem bölgesiyle paylaşıyoruz’ adıyla başlattığımız kampanyada satın alınan suları yerlerine ulaştırıyoruz. Bundan sonraki süreçte de Büyükşehir Belediyesi olarak gerek bizler gerekse yardımseverlerle bu dayanışmanın artarak süreceğine inanıyorum” dedi.

Eskişehir, one of the biggest cities in Turkey, has sent 12 trucks carrying drinking water to the earthquake-stricken region of Izmir, where a 6.6 magnitude earthquake caused widespread damage and claimed over 100 lives.
