The group was caught red-handed while attempting to break into a school in the Şahinbey district of the city. The police officers on patrol in the area noticed the suspicious activity and immediately apprehended the group. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the group had stolen numerous electronic devices, including laptops and mobile phones, from various schools throughout the city.
The arrested individuals were brought in for questioning, where they confessed to their crimes and revealed that they had been stealing from schools for several months. They also admitted to trying to sell the stolen items on the black market in order to make a profit.
This news has shocked the residents of Gaziantep, who have expressed their concern over the safety of their children and the security of the schools in the city. School officials have responded to the news by stepping up security measures at their institutions, such as installing security cameras and increasing the number of locking mechanisms on doors and windows.
