Irak’ın batısındaki Anbar ilinden başlayan kum fırtınası ülkenin orta kesimlerine ilerlerken Sağlık Bakanlığı alarma geçti.
Anbar ilini vuran kum fırtınası başkent Bağdat’a ilerlemeye başladı.
Irak Meteoroloji Müdürlüğü, şiddetli rüzgarın etkisiyle meydana gelen kum fırtınasının ülkenin batısı, kuzeyi ve orta kesimlerini etkilediğini belirterek, söz konusu fırtınanın yarından itibaren ülkenin güneyinde etkili olacağını duyurdu.
Kum fırtınasının Anbar ilinden ülkenin diğer bölgelerine ilerlemesinin ardından Sağlık Bakanlığı olası boğulma tehlikesine karşı tüm sağlık kurumlarının alarma geçirildiğini açıkladı.
Kum fırtınası nedeniyle meydana gelebilecek boğulma ve nefes darlığı vakalarına karşı bakanlığa ait tüm sağlık ocakları seferber edildi.
