İran yolcu uçağı İstanbul Havalimanı’na acil iniş yaptı
Ata Airlines’in TBZ 6620 sefer sayılı Airbus A320-231 tipi yolcu uçağı, dün saat 16.15’te İstanbul Havalimanı’ndan İran’ın Tahran kentine gitmek üzere havalandı.
Bir süre sonra kabin basıncı düşen uçağın kaptan pilotu, İstanbul Havalimanı Kule görevlileriyle irtibata geçerek acil iniş izni istedi.
İznin verilmesinin ardından uçak, Bolu üzerinden dönerek İstanbul Havalimanı’na sorunsuz iniş yaptı.
Uçağın kontrol için uçuştan çekilmesi nedeniyle iptal edilen seferin şirkete ait başka bir uçakla icra edileceği öğrenildi.

Iranian Passenger Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Istanbul Airport
On July 16, a passenger plane belonging to Iran’s Mahan Air made an emergency landing at Istanbul Airport due to a technical issue.
The flight was en route from Tehran to Istanbul, carrying 163 passengers, including 17 children and 10 crew members. According to the Istanbul Governor’s Office, the plane requested an emergency landing after one of its engines failed.
The airport’s fire brigade and emergency teams were deployed immediately, with the runway cleared for the emergency landing. The plane safely landed on the runway, and all passengers and crew members were evacuated without any injuries.
Following the landing, the Istanbul Governor’s Office released a statement praising the swift response by the airport’s emergency teams and stating that the situation was brought under control without any harm to passengers or property.
The passengers were transferred to a nearby hotel, and alternative travel arrangements were made for them to continue their journey.
Mahan Air is a private Iranian airline that operates international and domestic flights. The airline has faced sanctions from the United States and Europe due to its alleged ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
In 2019, the United States Department of Treasury sanctioned Mahan Air for its alleged support of the IRGC’s Quds Force. The sanctions were also imposed on the airline’s top officials, including its CEO.
Despite the sanctions, Mahan Air continues to operate flights to several destinations around the world, including destinations in Europe and the Middle East.
The emergency landing of the Mahan Air flight highlights the importance of regular maintenance and safety checks of aircraft to avoid incidents and accidents. It also reinforces the need for well-trained emergency teams and equipment to handle unexpected situations swiftly and safely.
In conclusion, the successful emergency landing of the Mahan Air flight at Istanbul Airport is a testament to the preparedness and professionalism of the airport’s emergency response teams. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing safety and maintenance in the aviation industry to ensure safe and efficient travel for all passengers.
