İtalya’da hükümetten “taşıyıcı anneliği” evrensel suç sayan yasa tasarısı önerisi
Ülkede özellikle eşcinsel çiftlerin çocuk sahibi olması ve onların haklarına yönelik tartışmalar devam ederken, hükümetten yeni bir adım geldi.
İtalyan ANSA ajansının haberine göre, iktidarın büyük ortağı Başbakan Giorgia Meloni’nin partisi aşırı sağcı İtalya’nın Kardeşleri Partisi (FdI), taşıyıcı anneliği evrensel bir suç haline getirmek üzere parlamentonun alt kanadı Temsilciler Meclisi Adalet Komisyonu’na yasa önerisi sundu.
Söz konusu yasa teklifinin özellikle, İtalya’da halihazırda yasa dışı dolayısıyla suç olan taşıyıcı annelik uygulaması için yurt dışına gidilmesini engellemeyi amaçladığı belirtildi.
İtalya’da hükümet, geçen hafta eşcinsel çiftlerin, taşıyıcı anne üzerinden sahip oldukları çocuklarının yasal aileleri olarak doğum kayıtlarının yapılmasını durdurmuştu.
Ayrıca Meloni’nin partisi FdI, yine geçen hafta Senato’da Avrupa Politikaları Komisyonu’nda Avrupa Birliği’nin eşcinsel çiftlerin ve çocuklarının haklarını tanımaya yönelik düzenlemesini engelleyen bir karar almıştı.
Ülkenin ikinci büyük kenti Milano’da 18 Mart’ta ise eşcinsel çiftlerin çocuklarını yasal aileleri olarak kaydedilmesini durduran hükümet kararına karşı protesto yürüyüşü düzenlemişti.
Kamuoyundaki tartışmalara ilişkin bir televizyon kanalındaki programda konuşan sağ koalisyon hükümetinin Aile ve Fırsat Eşitliği Bakanı Eugenia Roccella da “İtalya’da taşıyıcı annelik yasaktır ve onu adıyla anmak gerekirse; bu kiralık rahim demektir.” ifadesini kullanmıştı.
