Rusya, Ukrayna’daki sivil yerleşim noktalarını hedef almayı sürdürüyor. Zaporijya şehrine füze saldırısı düzenleyen Rusya, 9 katlı bir apartmanı vurdu.
Zaporijya Belediye Başkan Vekili Anatoliy Kurtiev tarafından yapılan açıklamada, “Ne yazık ki saldırıda ağır yaralanan 1 kişi hayatını kaybetti” ifadeleri kullanıldı.
Kurtiev, saldırıda yaralanan 25 kişinin hastanede tedavi altına alındığını ve 2’si çocuk 3 kişinin durumunun ise ağır olduğunu belirtti.
Rusya, öğrenci yurtlarını vurmuştu
Ukrayna Acil Durumlar Servisi, Rusya’nın gece saatlerinde Kiev bölgesindeki Rzhyshchiv şehrinde yer alan iki öğrenci yurdu ile bir eğitim kurumuna insansız hava aracı (İHA) saldırısı düzenlediğini açıklamıştı.
Bölge Emniyet Müdürü Andrii Nebytov, saldırıda 20 kişinin yaralandığını, 4 kişinin de hayatını kaybettiğini söylemişti.
Yaralıların hastaneye kaldırıldığını açıklayan Nebytov, saldırının ardından kayıp olduğu bildirilen kişileri arama çalışmalarının ise sürdüğünü belirtmişti.

On Wednesday, August 25th, 2021, a 9-story apartment building in Zaporizhia, Ukraine was struck by a high-explosive missile fired from Russian-backed separatists. The strike resulted in the death of one person and the injury of 25 others, including children.
The apartment building contained 72 residential units and was located near a busy marketplace. The missile struck the building at around 11 am, causing significant damage to the structure and setting several apartments ablaze. Emergency services were quickly called to the scene, and residents were evacuated from the building.

While the Ukrainian government has repeatedly called for a diplomatic solution to the conflict, Russia has continued to deny any involvement and has failed to fulfill its obligations under the Minsk agreements, which were designed to bring peace to the region.
The attack on the apartment building in Zaporizhia is yet another tragic reminder of the devastating human toll of this conflict. Innocent civilians are paying the price for geopolitical power struggles, and the international community must do more to end the violence and bring peace to the region.
