“Trinity” müzayedeye çıkıyor: Nadir bulunan 70 milyon yıllık fosil rekor fiyata satılacak

Günümüzden yaklaşık 70 milyon yıl önce yaşayan üç T-Rex’in kemiklerinden oluşturulan dinozor iskeleti İsviçre’nin Zurich kentinde müzayedeye çıkıyor. Oldukça nadir olduğu belirtilen 4 metre yüksekliğe ve 12 metre uzunluğa sahip fosilin 5 milyon (104 milyon lira) ile 8 milyon İsviçre frangına (167 milyon lira) satılması bekleniyor.

Dinozorların dünyada hüküm sürdüğü milyonlarca yılın ardından devasa bir Tyrannosaurus Rex’in (T-Rex) iskeleti, önümüzdeki ay İsviçre’deki bir açık artırmada satışa sunulmadan önce halka tanıtıldı.

TRX-293 Trinity adlı devasa etoburun, 18 Nisan’da Cenevre’deki açık artırmada 5 milyon İsviçre frankı (104 milyon lira) ile 8 milyon İsviçre frankı (167 milyon lira) arasında bir fiyatla alıcı bulması bekleniyor.

4 metre yüksekliğinde ve 12 metre uzunluğunda olan iskelet, dünyada şimdiye kadar keşfedilen üç T-Rex fosilinin kemiklerinden oluşturuldu.

Satışı gerçekleştiren müzayede evinin sahibi Cyril Koller, “Bu iskeletin adı ‘TRX-293 Trinity ‘ çünkü üç bireyin kemikleri bir araya getirilerek oluşturuldu ve hepsi ABD’de bulundu.” dedi. İskeletin adının geri kalanı ise iskeletteki 293 kemikten kaynaklanıyor.

Diğer taraftan İsviçre’deki Aathal Dinozor Müzesi’nden paleontolog Hans Jacob-Siber, T-Rex fosillerinin bulunmasının son derece nadir olduğunu belirtti.

Jacob-Siber, “Bu bir kalıp veya kopya değil, orijinal bir T-Rex iskeleti ve oldukça nadir. ” diye konuştu.

Öte yandan, neredeyse diğer tüm fosilleşmiş T-Rex’ler müzelerde sergilenirken, bu nadir bulunan iskeletler satışa çıktığında tepkiye neden oluyor.

Satışı planlanan iskeletin özel bir kişi tarafından satın alınacağı düşünülse de, Koller halkın da gelecekte bu iskeleti görme şansı olacağından emin olacaklarını belirtti.

Kuzey Amerika’da keşfedilen diğer iki T-Rex olan “Sue” ve “Stan”, 1997 ve 2020 yıllarında satıldıklarında sırasıyla 8,4 milyon dolar ve 31,8 milyon dolara satılmışlardı.
